Year Forever In My Veins is the compelling, first-person poetic testimony of a student activist (SNCC) working to dismantle segregation in the 1960s.  “The fearless and selfless voice of a young civil rights worker during a dangerous and violent era.”

Faith S. Holsaert co-edited Hands on the Freedom Plow: Personal Accounts by Women in SNCC (University of Illinois). She has a chapbook, Falls Lake: Swimming in History (Finishing Line Press). She was awarded 2019 Alex Albright Prize in Nonfiction. Holsaert received her MFA from the Warren Wilson Program for Writers.
