Dr. Mariam Gomaa is an American physician and writer based in Washington, DC. She holds an M.D. from Wake Forest University School of Medicine and a B.A. in Creative Writing and Biological Sciences from Northwestern University. Her writing has appeared in Time, NBC News, Doximity, Nimrod International Journal, Rhino Poetry, Graze Literary Magazine, Readings for Diversity and Social Justice 4e, and more.
